The Experience
More Than a Beautiful Hike
The Camino de Santiago is an 800-year-old pilgrimage route that crosses northern Spain. Millions have walked it seeking something — clarity, healing, meaning, a fresh start. It is not a vacation. It is not a retreat. It is a pilgrimage in the truest sense: a physical journey that mirrors and catalyzes an interior one.
Walking the Camino with me is different from walking it alone or with a tour company. I am a certified Camino guide who has walked the route many times. More importantly, I understand the interior landscape of the walk — the moments of doubt, the unexpected grief, the startling joy, the quiet revelations that come at mile fifteen when your mind finally surrenders.
I hold space for whatever arises on the path. Because on the Camino, the metaphors are literal: you carry your own pack, you walk through weather, you share meals with strangers who become companions. And somewhere along the way, you discover that you are capable of far more than you imagined.
“On the Camino, you shed what you don't need — in your pack and in your life. You walk through weather and uncertainty. And somewhere along a sunlit ridge or a rain-soaked path, you meet who you are becoming.”
